Lending Medical Equipment and Professional Medical Counseling

Beit Chabad ensures the well-being of the community members and operates a Gemilut Hasadim for lending medical equipment along with advanced medical counseling services for those in need

In spite of the tremendous improvement Ukraine is experiencing in a wide variety of areas, the public health care services are still at an ongoing low and the treatments provided are at a very low and basic level.

For that purpose, together with the “European Rabbi Center”, the Jewish community has established Gemilut Hasadim to lend medical equipment and an array to provide advanced medical counseling to specialist doctors in a variety of fields.

Hundreds of community members - of all ages and social statuses - benefit from the Gemilut Hasadim service and the medical counseling which enables them to confront the struggles that come with their illness without collapsing financially.

In the near future, Beit Chabad and the Jewish community in Chernivtsi, are planning to build a new Jewish clinic that will leverage the activity and will assist hundreds of people.
